We often get questions from customers on how to go about removing their cluster so we are providing step by step instructions on our blog to help out.
Here are some DIY cluster removal tips
Step 1.Lower the steering wheel fully.
Step 2. Disconnect the battery ground cable and disable airbag system as described in the owner’s manual under: MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE /AIRBAG SYSTEM DISARMING.
Step 3. Remove the finish panel screws and connectors.
Step 4. Remove the instrument cluster screws and disconnect all electrical connectors.
Step 5. Remove the instrument cluster assembly.
Step 6. Follow instructions on the Tanin Auto Electronix shipping page for proper packaging of the instrument cluster and send in to us for your repairs.
Step 6. Reverse procedure to re-install the cluster once it is received back from Tanin Auto Electronix.
