In 1990 Cadillac Fleetwood introduced an all digital display gauge cluster. Luckily we are able to repair this cluster when the entire screen fails and leave you with no information.
The problems continued in 2003 when the Escalade used the same gauge cluster as all of the Switech Juken problem prone stepper motor GM clusters of the 2000’s.
In 2007 the Escalade actually used Toyota’s supplier, Denso, to create their gauge clusters. Not surprisingly the 2007+ Escalade clusters were not prone to failures of any type. Occasionally we will see a bad display screen, but overall they were gifted with Japanese reliability.
