So what happens once the gauge cluster is taken out of the vehicle? Often times, purchasing a refurbished gauge cluster when yours stops working is the simplest solution for most customers. There is no hassle of locating a unit that is actually working, finding somewhere to have the miles programmed, or paying ridiculous charges from the dealership. Tanin Auto Electronix takes care of that all, and you receive a plug-and-play speedometer for your Honda Ridgeline, ready to be installed.
The next option we provide is perfect for anyone on an even tighter budget, but still needs someone else to perform the display repair for them. You can ship your instrument cluster to us with a repair work order, and our skilled technicians will handle replacing the LCD screen!
And last, we have the most budget-friendly option for those of you with some DIY skills. Due to high demand for an alternative solution, Tanin Auto Electronix took on the task of manufacturing our very own LCD screen for the Honda Ridgeline odometer. Watch the last video below to see if you are up to the challenge!
Besides TAE being the first company to ever manufacture these Honda Ridgeline LCD screens, they have also become so popular due to the fairly simple installation process. It requires very – I mean VERY – minimal disassembly of the speedometer, and we also provide an installation video to show how it’s done.
This went much easier than I ever expected. The hardest part was removing the clear lens ( broke 1 pin) but no other issues. Kudos on a great “how to video”.
The odometer keeps mileage, the oil reminder stays the same but FYI the trip odometers do revert to zeros. Thank you Tanin
Hello Sir,
So when I install your LCD screen. Turn the switch on does the mileage Display what was on the cluster before the change or will it display zero
Thanks,
Ranjit
Well that was easy. Start to finish 40 min. Oh, and yes, it works!!
