This item is one brand new, Tanin Auto Electronix (TAE), monochromatic, amber colored LCD screen for 2004-2010 Volkswagen Touareg speedometers. It also fits 2003-2010 Porsche Cayenne speedometers with the amber colored display screen.
NOTE*** This screen is NOT for the larger square, color center display screen. That screen is only available for repair using the link provided. Please contact customer service is you are not sure which screen you have.

This was a perfect replacement for the screen in our 2005 Porsche Cayenne. The original screen would fade a few minutes after starting the car. The online videos made the installation easy, and we were done in less than an hour start to finish. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to replace a dying LCD!

My local Porsche dealer asked over $1k for a rebuilt dashboard and doesn’t offer the LCD component replacement that Tanin supports. The project took me 2.5 hours, the majority of that being careful removing the dashboard itself. The left vent connector took me 30 minutes to unplug since I’ve never seen one like it before. I suggest turning on the power and lowering the steering wheel prior to removing the horizontal dash piece around the ignition, since there’s a vinyl fabric connecting to the top of the steering wheel clamshell. Also you’ll need a long extension torx in order to get the last screw out (behind the dash).
The LCD screen replacement was exactly like the video describes. I replaced everything in reverse order and it came up immediately, looking bright as new!
Thank you Tanin for the part and video help! This makes my day!

Lcd screen swapped out and works great!
I can’t believe that it took me this long to replace my LCD screen in my Touareg. Great video instructions to follow along and the whole job, including removing the instrument cluster out of the car, took about 30 minutes. Now no more faded screen.

I purchased the subject part on line this past week. I believe it shipped the next day, and I received the part 3 days later. I installed it using TAE instructional video on the website. Installation went without problem, and the new screen works perfectly. Great product.

I replaced the MFI on my 2006 VW Touareg all by myself with your video’s help after my LCD started to “bleed” all over itself and it was not readable . I have never done anything like this on my own. My husband was even proud if me. Thank you!!! I would attach before & after pictures if I could.
